Throw Out Bearing sleeve?

my question is, i pulled off my throw out bearing, and inbetween the bearing retainer and the input shaft is a sleeve, it seems out of place? it was pushing up against my clutch creating a large crevis and seemed to be causing the throw out bearing to not fully ingauge?
Thanx

I'm not sure if your talking about the same part, but I had a problem last year with that "sleeve" that the T.O. bearing sits on broke off! Luckily the KA part is the same and "sds13coupe" came thru with that!
