FS: WHEELS & WHEELS! 16x8
Well, I have two sets of wheels that I am selling.. if you guys are interested feel free to inquire.
What are they? 1 set of Black Racing 16x8 5-lug wheels. Made in Japan. I believe the offset is +30 or +32, weight is around 16-17lbs. Excellent quality wheels. 1 set of customized OEM 16x8 Mazda FD RX7 wheels. They are 5-lug and +50 offset. These wheels have a gun-metal powdercoated center with a polished outer lip. All OEM writing/marking has been shaved. Mazda center caps were shaved and painted black. OEM Mazda FD quality, very durable and VERY light -- 14-15lbs EACH! The only other OEM wheel that compares is off of the R32 GT-R (almost identical weight). BR wheels fit like a glove and clear Z32 brakes. I am running 12mm spacers in the rear because I love FLUSH wheels. FD wheels need spacers to clear Z32 brakes and front struts. I have a set of QUALITY MACHINED wheel spacers that I will consider selling with these wheels as well. Basically, these are both some of the widest and lightest 16" wheels you can fit on an S13 without the need for flares or fender rolling, this is why I chose them. note: I have had ZERO wheel-shimmy issues with either one of these wheels, they are both excellent quality and work really well on S13's. Serious inquiries only, I dont want to deal with people who are clueless. I'de rather setup a local SoCal 240 owner who is cool and wants a nice setup. However, I am willing to ship as long as I am dealing with good people. FD 16x8 +50 14-15lbs wheels - $800/set BR 16x8 +30 16-17lbs wheels - $900/set I have various tires in storage sized 225/50/16 or 245/45/16 -- both fit great and dont bulge on these wheels. I have tons of spare standard and tuner-style lugnuts and several sets of wheel locks. I even have metal valve stems that I can provide. I have enough pictures to make you throw up, so if you want more pics please let me know. - Mike / ClearCorners.Com Last edited by old_s13; 01-13-2004 at 06:07 PM.. |

I'll have to check the offset of the BR wheels, off the top of my head I believe they are +30 but I very much could be wrong -- they can be +38. I'll double check as soon as I get a chance.
Jason, I'm back from Japan, TAS was a blast! Sorry, no luck on ANY parts scavenging this year.. I was limited on time and was too busy meeting friends and drinking! hehe!!! Give me a call this week, lets try to meetup for those brake lines. - Mike |

dutchmalmiss hey do u have 4 of the BR wheels? or is it just a pair? interested!
Set = FOUR I am selling FOUR BR wheels and FOUR FD wheels. On the BR wheels I have 2 Falken 451's sized 225/50/16. The other two BR wheels have no tires, but I have spares in my garage (worn, but spares) that you can chose from. All of the FD wheels have Bridgestone RE730's, size 245/45/16. I imagine this being a good deal for anyone who wants multiple wheels and tires for tearing up canyons and drift events. Afterall, thats why I own them all. Give me a call or e-mail if interested [email protected] // 323-201-2713 |

16x8's pushed out to the max (flush with fenders) should clear coilovers, I would say yes. BUT, its always good to test before you buy.
JDM Rice used the BR wheels on his vehicle before he went wide body. He sold them to me. Now I am going wide body and selling these. Whats even more interesting, he ran the wheels I am currently installing -- interesting how the world turns, huh? bwalker also ran the BR wheels on his S14, I dont have any pics but I am sure you can find them on the net.. he attends a lot of the drift events. - Mike |

Hey Mike, I have a question about the FD wheels....Did you get the center bore machined so the wheels fit the larger 240sx hub? I've got a set of Mazda wheels and I've been thinking about getting the centerbore machined from the smaller Mazda center bore to the larger 240sx centerbore.
Please tell me how you were able to get this wheels to fit properly. Thanks! -VA240 |
