s14 brake lines use a diff type of fitting than z32. check out pdm racing they make braided conversion lines that go from the caliper to the hardline of the car. can't get any simpler than that. i ordered the front/rear lines just gotta wait for them to be shipped to me house since they're coming from canada eh!

Hmmm???

I always thought that S14 already have the 4-pot calipers for 30mm discs (front). Original in cast steel but anyways.... The calipers you bought are made of aluminum and are a bit lighter but should be an easy install

(Off with original good 4-pot calipers and replace with the aluminum ones)

Sounds a bit waste of money (but on the other hand you save a pound or two in weight)

there is no bracket required. it bolts right up. the only thing different is the brake lines you need 300zx ones.

nah man..my stock s14 front brakes only come with ONE piston every caliper, with this upgrade i will be have 4 pots in one caliper which is massive stopping.

That is great pal. Here in Europe AFAIK all S14 have the 4-pot calipers.
You will have a awsome change in stopping.

So...

You will need new steel braided lines. The original ones come with a banjo connection on the caliper. (Ring in the end of the line with a hollow bolt inside and copper washers). You shall not reuse the old line because the new calipers do not have a notch that prevent the banjo from twisting sideways (it may twist loose = no breakes). The new lines need to have a threaded end without banjo (the threaded end go straight in the new calipers.

Old setup with banjo end

New setup without banjo

No, really, you asking the most basic, remedial question ever to be asked on a car forum is much scarier. Further proof that even by age 26, people can still be ignorant as fuck.

I just did this, well 90% done when you get the conversion lines everything fits. But the R33 cables have to be modified since the first brackets that attach to the subframe are a bit different than the S14. Out of all the post thats said its a direct fit. I only found one that mention the brackets.

Which has absolutely nothing to do with the front calipers, which is what the kid asked about. Awesome post.

Why not discuss other non related things like your dishwasher and really confuse him?

HAHA
Maybe this would save him a post. Besides I have a Maytag dishwasher so maint/install not an issue. But your right as usual and in the usual way.

Where is the rep button when we need it? Hahha.

Reading, and searching for information are really lost artforms anymore. I get a kick out of people who can't find information (like the O/P) but I"m undoubtedly sure know how to use pornotube, or similar lol.

Nah, it searches those sites as well. Not sure if it searches tube8 though.
