Transmission and differential oil - Use Silkolene?
Silkolene BOA 80W-90 Gear Oil- 1/2 LTR
http://www.racerpartswholesale.com/p.../Silkolene_Oil According to the 240SX manual, Transmission oil: GL-4 Differential oil: GL-5 Silkolene meets both GL-4 and GL-5 requirements. I just bought a S13 and a weld diff. Can I just use Silkolene oil for both the transmission and differential? I know most people will recommend Red Line MT-90 Manual Transmission Lubricant for the transmission, but I can save some money if I can just buy Silkolene oil for both the transmission and differential. Thanks! |
