Energy suspension

Anyone have a fitment issue with the subframe bushings from energy suspension? The poly ones. The rear ones fit fine but the front one are loose as hell. I might buy the white line press on ones because I’m afraid to put the subframe back in the car

Bushing should be super tight, Do the front ones still have the sleeves in the subframe? Pretty sure the ES kit requires you to retain the sleeves.

See above, sounds like the bushing sleeve has been removed.

Yeah you have to remove the front sleeve because there’s some type of plastic in the bushing itself. I looked at numerous videos before I did it and they all cut the sleeve. It’s whatever. Summit sent me two sets of subframe bushings from white line. They got they new sleeves but it’s just a bummer that the energy suspension ones didn’t work.

Didn't see plastic on my S13 ones but I also burned mine out, easiest way IMO, usually you only have to remove the sleeves if your doing solid ones. Either way whiteline bushings would fix the issue

You're supposed to keep the sleeves in for the S13, remove them for the S14. Mine are a snug fit on my s13

S13 and S14 bushings are the exact same size, it depends on the bushing kit you use.
