But its just a waste of titanium at that point Well not a waste but it just uses more titanium than we'd like (and then the price would change, so you wouldn't like it) Ball shift knobs rule (while driving for real, not daily) I don't like pole styles The beer tap style has been done time and time again in S chassis, I forget who though I think it'd be cool for like a day or two, but then when you get hassled by the cops for car stuff and they see that thing sitting in your shifter it might not give them the best impression (although maybe some cops might call it cool) Anything glass for a shift knob would be a bad idea Much less a hollow glass bottle SHATTER Blood everywhere Great....

That knob looks a lot like the Personal Ball knob in Carbon: Me personally not a big fan of but price wise its "cheaper" (~$58)

Razo RA113
About 40 bucks shipped from ebay. Has a very good feel, and is weighted (230grams=approx. 1/2lb.).

Waste of titanium? Come on, you guys make the titanium bulb shift knob. That's a waste, and it's similar to the ARC, just burnt. If you make the titanium burnt gold fish, it would be just as much a waste as the bulb. But, no one makes titanium gold fish or butt plug styles. You'd be the first. Nismo has some light hard-plastic butt plug thing, but it's just white or black, boring. You guys have the aluminum one, which is nicely weighted, but boring silver or black. Do it Logan. Price doesn't matter to me, I want it, haha. I buy stuff from you I don't even use. I'll keep buggin you until it happens.

I've seen outrageously expensive shift knobs. Didn't Esprit make like a $300 shift knob for awhile?
The stuff for Euro cars can be out of hand, from companies like Mansory and Arden. $1,000 for a shift knob, $4,000 for a bumper, $25k for brakes, etc... I don't see the point though, especially not in an S-chassis. I'm unusually picky about shift knobs as I like a very lightweight one to somewhat counteract the additional notchiness of a short-throw setup. |

I like how S chasis owners try to pretend that their cars are worth more than $3000

I would always recommend ordering through me versus the website More personal service (I don't handle web orders) and I can always give a better price

Have you used one or read any actual reviews anywhere? I currently have a Nismo "dildo" knob, and I'm thinking about switching to either a Mu (not sure wtf the torque tension does or how much it weighs), or a Greddy counter weighted, or perhaps a TWM knob (they weigh just over a pound!). How much do the Aspec ones weigh?
Any thoughts on weighted knobs? |
