i have a ka24de 91 240sx hatch it starts up great but has a rough idle
it jumps from 6 or 7 hundred to about 1200 rpms..i have recently changes plugs and wires to ngk's.Now my real problem is when i rev up to 3000 rpms it souns as if it back fires and then doesnt want to go any higher then 3000 rpms. if i hold the throttle down it just drops rpms a little and jumps back to 3000 but will never go pass 3500. Timing is set to 20 degrees which is stock for the car.
please help me out im out of ideas

it sounds like its in limp mode, this is normally caused by the MAF failing.
also check your timing but all my money are on maf
