I just got my throttle from RMR and wow what a nice piece !!!!
Like i said before i had two choice for the q45 flange style ... 76mm or 82.5mm I went with the 82.5mm for my set-up !!! Bolt's right up to my mazworx intake with no majof problem . I just need to trim my throttle cable bracket that was all ready on the intake and design for a oem q45 throttle I wont even have to port match the flange its all ready a perfect match Here are the pics : When i just got it out the box right after i got the package at the post office Front and top view instaled on the manifold Here is the port match i was telling about

naturally a VE head is for reliability and power and it's just better than any SR20 head there is But the q45 vs standard 76MM, we usually opt for 76 mm due to the pain in the ass throttle control with larger, if you experience it a eccentric wheel may help

thread revival hahahah ... my freaking house is still not sold but the sale season is starting . i should see abit more action in the next week
here for the built . i bought a second tansmission from a local guy ... i will fix my cd009 and drive this one for now the bellhousing is machined for the Autotech motoring plate (vq to sr) (for the ones who want to buy this kit ... you have a minor modif to fo . The starter doesnt sit perfect so you need to grind it down abit .... see the pics below) the last transmission i bought came with a b&m short shifter and a aasco motorsport flywheel . i had a great deal on it . the shifter was missing a bushing in it ... so i made one at the same time i was shortening the shift linkage to fit in my s14 here is the final assembly

i also took pics of the axles spacers/conversion (240sx to z33 axles)
and i got most of my front end and rear end stuff ... the only parts that im missing right now is a set of front lower controle arms (i dont know witch one to go with ... gktech is coming out with one soon or pbm) the front (gktech knuckle / tierod spacer, pbm inner tierod , pbm offset rack bushing , stock outer tierod for now) rear is Gktech everywhere ... dual z32 caliper is getting source right now im only missing 1 set of calipers

Interested to see how the Z33 axles hold up for you. I threw on some used ones with those adapters and broke them the same day -_- but it might have been install error or something i don't know.
Would you happen to have a spare cd009 shifter assembly? I need one for my cd009, if it was shortened already for a 240 that would be even better! I want to run a stock shifter too. |
