Dutch s14 vq35de nurburgring build
Hi There
My name is Rik and i'm from the Netherlands I'm a mechanic for a living. When i was working for a local nissan dealer my interest in fast nissan cars began,. first i wanted a sunny gti-r, but then my frinds gti-r blew the gearbox and soon after that the engine.. And finely in 2003 i bought a 1995 Nissan 200sx s14 (euro sr20det) pics. after the builts of my friend joes (Joe-san) http://zilvia.net/f/chat/345784-niss...-widebody.html and my friend dennis his build we working on at this moment http://zilvia.net/f/chat/397756-dutc...p-project.html now its time to show you my project hope you like it.. it was completely stock and after a few changes it looks like this http://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i1...autorik032.jpg i that period it was cool to bodykit it. after a few shows and meetings i did a trip to the nurburgring i broke my skirts and front bumper in the carossel and dicided to stock body it because i really liked driving the nurburgring after 28 laps my hks gt-ss blew and i dicided th build the car from the bottum and this time no turbo's first take it appart than the safty cage built bij Gerwin Biesheuvel (famaus family name in dutch motorsport) Last edited by rik boellen; 06-05-2015 at 11:23 PM.. |

Is that a regular VQ30DE or the Revup VQ?
The motor looks too close to the firewall for the OEM intake manifold (or even most aftermarket) intake manifolds to fit. I wonder what you have planned... |

Thanks for the interest in my project.
it is e regular vq35 283hp,. my decision was made from a swap topic on zilvia and the dutch rally scene, the www.350zchallenge.nl was build and started by Biesheuvel Autosport. The rally cars are awsome and don't have any engine failures. because i want to buy a (yearcard)??? membership to drive on the nurburgring as much as you can. i can't have a broken car. Indeed the motor sits close to the firewall but this is direct bolt on with the mc-cinney mounts. as for the manyfold i'm going to use the cosworth plennum. and need to modify the firewal.. i update as soon as there are interesting movements regards rik Last edited by rik boellen; 08-06-2011 at 09:57 AM.. |

It's really cool to see how much you guys are putting into this chassis. It always seems the things I see coming from overseas way outweigh the quality of things from America. I'll be watching this for sure. Any further plans for the vq? I'm sure you'll get bored of it at some point. Glad to see this thing is being driven on a world known road course and not destroyed drifting.
