S13SR into S14 problems.

1st problem.

S13 SR20DET from JDM-Online.com into S14 Chassis.

-Motor cranks healthy.
-No spark coming from each spark plug.
-No fuel coming through the lines.
-Starter was tested and it spins.
-Dash & Radio works fine.
-Followed the s13SR to S14 wiring harness write up. Word for word. The same write up everyone's been using on Zilvia/Nico.
-New battery.

What could be wrong?

2nd problem.

-S13 Transmission isn't accepting my S14 non-abs driveshaft.
-At one point, the output would be jammed up in the transmission and would be a bitch to pull back out.

Any idea?

Was your car auto before? If not then the DS should work just fine. You will have to take the dust collar off the end of the trans.

Nah my car was always 5 speed..

The DS will go, but it'll jam up within the spines or sometin.

Must be the angle the splines are lining up in, I guess.

Anyone ever come across a thing called "TWISTED SPLINES" in the transmission?

haha i had the same shit man! i have a 95 s14 and i did a redtop swap. First the driveshaft, you really have to shove it in there, it will be fine, but it feels like its jamming but its not. Lube it up and stick it in there, when it gets stuck the someone else to hold the end of it while you take a 14mm wrench and turn it clockwise. have your buddy twist and push. Its hard but it works. Second, your starting problem. i had the same issue w/ the new battery, healthy crank and such. your fuel pump is not turning is caused by bad connection to ecu, no fuel coming in is also a result of that. Best suggestion is send your harness out to get it fixed. sometimes your o2 sensor can fry your harness.

Alright update.

Thanks SRZENKIS14. Lubing up the driveshaft worked fine and didn't take that much time to shove in there. Hahaha. Thanks a bunch man.

But one more problem stalls.

SO THE ECU is fine. And the wiring write up we used was the same S13SRintoS14CHASSIS write up everyone's been posting up on ZILVIA.

WTF IS GOING ON?!
