problem w/my s15

hey, i have a problem w my driver side door window/lock. it's power operated but the window doesnt work, at first i thought it was the motor but the door lock doesnt work either. it will roll down the pass side and un/lock the pass side too but not the driver side. so now im not so sure it's just the motor. the power folding mirror switch works for both sides plus the mirror adjustment knob, just the driver side window and lock. please help...thank you.

the easiest way to check is to get a switch from a known good s15 and swap em, but it may be difficult to source one.

i'd suggest getting a power probe and checking to make sure you have power going to the affected switch(es). if no, then you have a bad supply circuit/blown fuse.

if yes, then push that switch and see if you have power going from the switch to the affected component. if no, then you have a bad switch.

if you do have power going from the switch, trace it all the way to the affected component to verify wiring integrity. if you have power at the component, ensure you have a good ground. if you have a good ground, and a good power, then the component has failed.
