What happens with the CAE in the winter?

there is a risk of rain getting through the filter cause the cae puts the filter about 8 inches off the pavement

Well I'm pretty much set on getting the InJen intake. Thanks for all the input everyone <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>. Is the CAE easy enough to remove during the winter season, and put back on after the snow clears?

Anyone have any problems with CAE's in the rain?

i was reading some old posts. u should get a filter that is rain resistent, like the k&amp;n one. there's also a spray to put on there to protect it 2. i don't think i'm worried about getting a CAE no more.
