Hi,
Having almost finished sanding and prepping my car for paint, I am now left with many factory spot welds that I wish to cover up.
I want the inside to have a clean and smooth look to it, which is why I wish to cover the depressions.
But in doing so, I want to know if covering it up with bondo (body filler) will affect the difficulty in spot welding in the near future? Like do you have to know where the factory spot welds are?
And if time is the only issue, I assure you, I have plenty of it.
As a high school student with very limited resources, I really don't have a clue what I'm talking about so I'm sorry if I sound vague.
If you have any other advice or tips in painting the inside of a s13 please feel free to share.

why dont you spot weld then fill in the holes

plus, I wanna start driving it. So i was trying to get it painted and put back together by the end of my Christmas break (Jan. 2)
but how much does it cost?

i think hes talking about stich welding the chassis. basically putting a tack weld about every ** inches. on every seam where 2 pieces of metal are joined. that would defeat the purpose of trying to get that "shaved" look

i wouldnt bother with bondo unless its going to be a show car.
and i certianly wouldnt do it if u plan on stripping the bay in the near future
but thats just me.
