Engine harness is getting installed at the moment trying to put heat sleeves on the section of the harness were it will be getting to hot.
Went to parts too and bought some heater hoses. Will be switching to AN later. Took measurements of the amount of wiring i will need for the chassis harness aswell. Once I get that sorted out I will need to start assembly of interior. Will get pics up later of this lil progress. |

havent updated this but car has been coming along. I have been changing things up to try to get the car running asap.
worked on cluster to fit the AIM MXG. Finalizing last bit of chassis wiring. Every single harness was made new from headlights to the rear taillights and everything in between. Still working on window wiring, locks, side mirrors etc.. but major wiring is done just need to install them. chasebay powersteering chase bay coolant overflow location of the engine fusebox might move it once my inspection is done Canister mounted didn't get crazy with brackets just got 2 pieces of aluminum and u-shape bend sikky oil filter mounted where AC condensor would normally go was planning on running heater too but decided to take it off last minute |

hadn't seen the car with front end on in a while... missed it hood dampers were on of my favorite new mods much more room without that annoying hood prop switched all halogen bulbs to LED everything rear bumper got scratched up by garage door at one point oh well... haha engine turned on first try and sounds good with that Reinhard...only leaks were from fuel and power steering.. turned out the fittings were still lose tighten them up and no leaks after that.. going to throw 1 seat in sometime this week for its first drive around the block. going to route intake down to bottom once I drive it to the shop. Took the car this weekend to detail the interior and exterior...we had an accident of spilling fluid on the carpet so that why i decided to clean it now with the dash out so i can clean the carpet easier.
Paint is still in decent shape has bunch of scratches due to the small work space we have in the garage but ill be painting the car again in the future... Last edited by s1421; 07-16-2019 at 12:17 AM.. Reason: ............. |

havent updated in a while but car is pretty much done!
The car went to my buddies shop to make an intake for it. IAT were super high with the sikky intake it had, especially the days when it was hot here in so-cal, so we moved it down. got a full 4'' intake. I brushed the raw aluminum and then shot it with clear. the morning of the inspection moment of truth! Last edited by s1421; 10-06-2019 at 11:40 PM.. Reason: ............. |

So I failed the inspection because Im not able to use the AIM cluster( stock engine light needs to be present thus meaning the stock cluster needs to be hooked up). Second 3 of my monitors are still not ready so car needs to be driven more for those monitors to clear. Other then that visual inspection is good!
(afishysilvia) coming out to help with a code that isn't going away. P0315 crank relearn, this code doesn't throw a CEL but scanner still reads it. we've done the relearn with 3 different tools and still reads pending/permanent. took out the car for some nice drives and some pictures. for now I will be driving the car more often to try to get the monitors ready and reschedule another inspection. feels so close but yet so far to have this thing finally BARd. God dude! That's sweet. I also want to move to a e-rod engine but my dumb ass owns a 96. Mad props on the clean install. Def going to have to hit up the Irvine meet and see this in person.

California emissions are a nightmare. Perhaps you can register the car to one of the few counties not required if you have a relative there. The car looks really nice, I appreciate maintaining the Zenki with conservative aero.
