My friend has a 96 240sx like me and just recently bought a MSD ignition off Ebay and he wanted me to ask what all does he have to do to install it? I'm getting fairly well with working on cars so is this something he and I could do in a few hours? What all does it take to install it? Thanks everyone!!
AHH, I get to see Fast & The Furious for the 3rd time tomorrow <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'> |

It should be very simple to install. nothing major is required to install it depending on the model. I have a HKS twin power on the way and it dosent require much at all.

Hey, my friend hooked his MSD SCI up today....and now the car won't fire. It'll turn over but the car won't start. He unhooked it and hooked the car back up stock and it still wont' start....any clue?

I've not actually had the chance to go see it yet. He's just been telling me about it over IM. Last thing he told me was he thinks the box is faulty, so he unhooked it and just hooked everything back up stock...and now the engine will turn over and over and over but it won't actually start.

Well it turns out he fried the distributor. Should I direct him to courtesy nissan for a new one or some other place? I think he said our local Nissan place told him it was going to be $450 to put a new one on and that's REDICULOUS.
