I'm friends with past employees from there, past customers, etc. It tells a story without speaking words when previous employees clam up when the topic is broached and past customers say they'll never go back. Atlanta is a hot spot for performance shops...there are no shortages, so it can be quite cutthroat, which explains why Sharif has habitually taken jabs at his rivals (at dyno days, track days, etc) and his claims have come back to bite him several times. I'm not saying that everyone but Forged is perfect, but I will say that I've been around a lot of those guys in Atlanta and I can tell you who has a better attitude towards the community as a whole, and it's not Sharif.

I think I'm going to puke. Reading both of those accounts makes me sick to my stomach. Whatever happened to pride in your work? I know I'm only 20. But if I work on something, say repair a guitar or fix someone's car. I'm going to do everything I can to make it perfect. If it happens that I can't do what needs to be done. Then I'm going to tell the person I can't do it. It is as simple as that. No matter what amount of money you have a chance of making. If you can't do it right, then don't do it from the start.
Excuse me. I'm going to go puke and hack up a lung. |

Um, yeah F1 cars are cool, but you gonna drive that bitch to the grocery store or to dinner?
You can buy a lotta things for $250k but an F1 car is not a replacement for a GTR. That's like saying "Dude should have bought a plane" or "200 ATV's". lol

For 250K he could have bought a used Gallardo and swap in a Heffner TT kit...but that's beside the point.
Anyways, just read the whole thread. Looks like the guy is going to get a refund and his old parts, assuming everything works out by the proposed deadline.

If u are willing to spend 250k to build a car for track proposes why not buy an F1 or an indy 500 for the ultimate experience? Guess the guy had a second car to drive at the grocery store
