Exhaust/Fabrication question
So im building an exhaust on my s13 turbo ls and I got a flex pipe that I want to put in it. The issue is it will absolutely not fit anywhere on the downpipe. My question is if I put it in the axle back like right after the trans will it even do anything? Any fabricators/engineers that might be able to answer this?
Thanks in advance. |

Ideally, you have the flex mounted in the DP. However, there are plenty of aftermarket pieces that do not utilize flex sections. Omit it for now and see if it is necessary before trying to make it work. Also, they have flex pieces that have pretty short Lang lengths for tight areas.

I have a flex in the crossover pipe and I will put this one in the axle back even if it helps a bit. Mine is kind of bulky its 4"x6". I see the vibrant slim on but still its 3"od but id goes down to 2.72"
