Rolled the car out again today to get some more Vitamin D, because I can do that, and gave it a wash as well, since it hasn't recieved one in over a year and then some.
Since the car was all clean now, I got around to chucking the engine in for the first time. It was a pretty momentous event. It gave me many feels. |

Bolted on some more goodies yesterday to allow for mocking up of parts. Looks all kinds of pretty.
Also sanded back and primed up the brackets for the oil cooler so I could fit that up as well. I forgot how good it all looks together. Just need a Koyo N-Flow radiator to complete the picture. I don't plan on putting an aftermarket manifold on it just yet. I can always add an aftermarket one on later and take it for a re-tune, so I decided to clean up one of my many intake mani's that I have laying around. I soaked it with oven cleaner and left it over night. |

After Nigel Petrie has decided to not make his conversion kit any more, I've had to do a bit of research as to which one will be best for me. I looked at the Mazworx, but I decided against it because of the shifter position, and the AO kit just didn't do it for me, so this is the list that I've come to conclusion with:
I was initially getting the kit without the driveshaft because it could've just been easier and cheaper to get one made up here, but after luck would have it, a mate happened to have the driveshaft from the kit that I'm getting, fucking score! I went and picked it up today: |

I am very interested in that Z32 adapter kit, i have done a bit of research and come to the same conclusion.
Besides the shifter position with the Mazworks kit, it also requires some machining of the Z32 trans bell housing so i want to stay away from making permanent changes to the trans in case of having to resell, or w/e... Please go into some detail about the kit if you can. Fitment, quality, etc... Thanks, and as usual, looking good! |

Nah, no new updates, sadly. Building a house, so deposits had to be paid, and my daily (180SX) shot a rod so I'm almost done with rebuilding a donor engine, which will then be sold and I'll be on the prowl for an M35 daily.
Progress on this will happen later in the year. |
