i know its really really hard to see but this is a s13.5
and i dont really know what this part of the car is called but
its next to the windshield
and above the mirrors
that black plastic.

its like where the window is.
not the black garnish?
but that curved one that runs around the window
and in the picture he actually painted it blue all the way up to his sunroof
anyone know what part was painted?

thats part of the windshield, the top part (strip) of the windshield is tinted

i believe you are talking about the "a" pillar (the blue part between the windshield and the driver/pass window). that is painted like any other part of the car. you just strip away the window molding and prep the metal. usually people paint their roofs black on hatches because there is nice hard line break between the roof and the body (and it looks better imo).

the next vertical bar between the front and back side glass is the "b" pillar. the rear side glass and the rear windshield is divided by the "c" pillar.

too simple? you have to be suspended from the ceiling, then you have to operate the gun with your non-preferred foot for the job to be effective
