I think the only difference is the o2 sensor on the black top.

the plugs should line up but be sure to use a blacktop ECU as the pinout on the ECU side is different as for the o2 AFAIK the only diff is the thread size same voltage same o2 just diff threads

the harness is all the same , the only real difference in the ecu . I believe the blacktop had a different port on the head allowing for better flow , which is the only real difference between the motors and maybe the heat sinks on the head but its all fine i ran a blacktop with a redtop ecu at 9psi

DEPENDS ON THE YEAR BLACKTOP. If you have the later version blacktop *97-98* Some of the pin outs to the ECU are different. 94-96 blacktops are exactly the same as the regular redtops with some difference but it wouldnt matter. You can interchange the E5 blacktop ecu and the 62(?) redtop ecu. The O2 sensor wouldnt matter either. You can interchange 02 sensors, only catch is you have to swap the turbo elbow too if you change 02 sensors between the skinny and fat ones.

LIKE I SAID AGAIN...depends on the year blacktop. If the pin outs diffent, the harness is different.
