I have seen some jdm cars that make a "ding" sound when you reach a certain speed. I love that, its weird I know but its kinda cool. I just got a 180sx cluster for my sr swap. does this cluster do that?

I think what you are thinking of is the trade mark rx7 note that hits right before redline. This also happens in s2000's I believe

USDM Type R integras have a shift beep at redline as well as a light in the cluster...it's pretty cool too
