They hyped up the "U.S. Drift Nationals" so much, but when it came down to the the competition had less than 75 spectators on hand to watch. I don't see how/why Falken has to sponsor an event that is so poorly organized (the drift portion of the whole weekend), and compared to other events I have been at this is quite possibly the worst ever drift event in terms of organization. I support USA drift events that are put on well, with both a show of support from attendees and a show of support from the party that puts it together. With that said, if you are looking for seat time this is NOT the event to attend. It is a competition, pure and simple, and it is a $45 event that has far more risk than any other open track day you will ever attend. -alex |
