anyhow Delighted after a very long search i finally got the D-max front wings :P
turned up with no damage witch was a nice suprise very good quality, and a very good fit, spent a few hours taking off the old wings tidying up behind them, then fixing on the new ones happy out with them give good clearance and should look good once i get the rear overs on, if i get them on before i leave that is :P might have to wait till sometime in 2014 :P |

Now the overfenders...
the only alternative i had was buy 50mm overs and pinch them to 65mm, but dont like the way they come out so much a the top if you get me. i spent alot of time on them getting them just right, but now i offered them up today as i was about to belt ahead and fit them and im having second thoughts, what to people reckon? do they look a bit ****? should i do them again but start the pull higher up the arch? im only going to be fitting them once and get the car resprayed, so need to decided if i like them or not before i pull the trigger. All Opions and Views appriciated |

i like the sleek classy look. I think you should fill in the front overs. Keep the simple look(less is/can be more).
but nice car.

this is what you car looks like when you use it every day
gave it a wash and took spme pics some ****er put there foot through the Vertex ridge front bumper last week when it was parked up so its in about 6 diffrent peices, its repairable but it will take a while what a waste of E300 :/ cant have anything these days Jelous ****s so i lobed on the Spare Vertex for now. should be looking a lil diffrent in 2 weeks time can anyone Edit the last photo to show the wheels better? i love the picture but the wheels spokes are all fuzzy in it :/ |

Well where do i Start, The Fun with the car was short lived..
around the end of march a weird noise started comming from the clutch or course me being me i didnt check it until it went with a Bang LOL after alot of thinking i didnt want the hassle of bringing it to a garage and thought sure fuck it i may aswell give changing the Clutch a go myself bar changing a engine in a shitty golf a few years ago iv very little mechanical expeirence but im willing to learn got it up was getting really pissed at this stage LOL took out the Pressue plate to be greated by a barrage of springs falling all over the floor > but not one to miss a oppourtunty i bought myself a Early birthday present Exedy 3puck At this stage thing where going good, but in the back of my head i couldnt figure out how the Clutch Went after only a easy 25K ??? after Digging for a month i found out what was Wrong, when they changed the Clutch last, they used a s14 solid flywheel to replace the s15 Dual mass flywheel, this would have been ok if they fitted a 5speed gearbox, but the spline from the 6 speed box is shorter than the 5 speed one, as a result the gearbox spline was bearly making full contact with the clutch and it had no spigot bush to rest on, so all the flex and play (and trust me there is alot of play in a sr20 box) was transfered to the Clutch disk so now i have the proper flywheel on order it will be here next week and i can get abck on the Road so while im waiting i Treated myself: Well decided id splash out and get a GTS-T break set up, im not so happy with the fronts as id like something bigger but i know that when i get the car back up and running the s-body Front calipers will be seized again so i though my as-well treat myself and save the headache of trying to free them again is everything i need here for the Conversion? this will hopefully be her last weekend like this Then Today: what started out as a change the Front breaks to the Skyline ones got a bit out of hand today Decided to Pull off everything and properly under seal inside the Arches, then decided to Strip the coilovers and Check everything and give them a good copper Grease again cannot recomend this stuff enough, i copper Greased these 2 years ago and they came apart easy as today :wink: Back to the Breaks... im Ordering Braided Lines off Driftworks... now i was told ill need GTST lines.. but the lines that came with my calipers are really Short Compare to the S15 ones that are on the Inside of this Photo. If im getting the lines should i be looking for s15 Front ones and R33 gtst Rear ones? |

been a busy few days i finally pulled the fingure out this week and hope to have it through the Test next week sell the golf and get back in this
i pulled out the rear coilovers and split, tested, cleaned, copper-greased, and Rebuilt them. so they are all 100% and im thinking of selling them up and getting something else need them to pass the NCT first tho :wink: started on the Breaks fronts where a peice of piss, straigtht swap using the old breaklines then onto the rears before: comparision During: After :wink: Then decide to give the headlighs a quick spruce up, this was after a was all dull looking sanded them down with 1000, 1500 and then 2000 and 2500 grit paper, and buffed them up with some polish i found lying around and buffed them up, pictures dont show how much better they look but its a big diffrence!! Then finally my Driftworks super fly Flywheel came at long last not bad ordered it Friday through Wesley keating, he saved me E60 on the price of it and it landed this morning, ya cant ask for better service than that!! Everything stacked up and Waiting for one of the lads with a Clutch centering tool to give us a hand fitting the clutch and it will be under its own power by the weekend hopfuly :afro: |

cheers man, well i really wanted to move the Loom as alto it was pulled up over the metal guard the Wheels are so Wide that they where rubbing on the Rubber grommet where the loom enters the cabin, i had the dash pulled out but was too afraid to Go disconnecting the loom incase i break something LOL so after dieing with a hangover all day, i had a couple kopperbergs and at around 9 o clock at night was a bit tipse i though fuck it just get it done!! couple hours later and bobs your uncle Fannys your at Loom Mover never to be in the Way again ready for surgery Cabin was in a bit of a state lol As it started note where the Bonnet release cable is, it was getting eaten by the tyre too so i disconnected the cable, re routed it through the engine bay and drilled a new hole higher up and connected it back up Got brave with the 3 1/4 whole saw bit and Drilled a hole for the loom you can see old hole Vs new hole, the finished Article For anyone who wants to do this go for it its a peice of piss!! this is what you need to Disconnect the cable to the steering colum and the 5 conectors on it this top connector take the connector at the back of it, these two connectors on the Fuse board and another Black plug on the back of the fuse board, and this big white block connector then pull out your loom re route and plug back in 2 hour job just need to fill up the two gaping holes now |

well spent all today fixing up all the random fiberglass bumpers i have lying around. really makes me hope that the standerd bumpers suit this and im well over this fiberglass craic for a while.
painted up the new skyline breaks and polished the lettering thanks to d-turbo-lawwwwwdddddd for the paint i seen his and really wanted that shade of red met kruizer during the week and he suggeated that i fiberglass up the hole for the old looms seems alot easier than plating it or fitting and sealing grommets so 2 layres of fiberglass in and outside. paint then waxoil and its water tight before after. them polished the lips on the wheels wound down the coilovers as low as possible for the craic and took her out. im going to have to remove locking collers up front to get the height i want but the back is perfect right now offered up the aero skirts looking good sofar and offered the old bumper up after a lot of repair work incase i go back to the kit |

well after 5months in the shed its finally back... alot of it due to lazyness on my part and generally losing total interest in the car but after having a terrible few weeks i decided to get it back in a roadworthy condition and passed the nct wednesday so spent this evening putting the aero on and the wheels coilovers arms ect still have to put the mesh and foglights in the grills, fit and paint the spats and fit my exhaust along with a few other touches
home from the NCT so here is v5.0 of my s15 spat is just taped on for the mo had to move the lockign coller to the bottom of the shock to get it sitting just right |

nothing going on in Balbriggan for the 3 weeks i was there. didn't see a thing while we were in Belfast or Bangor one weekend. walked around Dublin for a few days and saw a couple exotics, but that was it. hell, it was exactly this time last year i was there....wife wanted to go to the Notre Dame's season opener at Croke Park
