FS: Built SR20DET.
I bought this motor to put into my s13 hatch. I put roughly 200 miles on it. Not sure the miles the previous owner put on it. Motor was originally built by big toms garage. I pulled the motor out b/c i started to get a compression problem. all the cylinders checked out except for #2. It was about 30psi. could be rings, could be a bent valve, not sure. I have to get rid of this only b/c i got hurt on the job and was fired. I need money to live on. Only other thing is that there is some slight scoring on the cam journals that could be sanded down with very fine grit sandpaper and put back together. I will include 15 valves & comp valve springs and 7 rockers as well. problems shouldn't be too hard to fix. I just can't afford to do anything with it right now, other than let it go. ((
Mods to the motor: JE 8.5:1 87mm pistons Scat rods (a bit better than Eagle) New OEM oil pump New water pump Greddy oil pan ARP head studs Cometic HG JWT C1 cams JWT valve springs BC retainers Ported head (by big tom) new timing chain tensioner. etc.... motor will be valve cover to oil pan. no manifolds. I paid $4250 for this just 200 miles ago. Asking $2k Might be willing to sell greddy intake manifold, peakboost exhaust mani & DBB SC61 turbo if someone is interested as well. Also have a spare z32 5speed trans that needs some parts installed as well. $250 for trans + parts here are the JWT C1 cams cylinders and pistons here is the scoring on the cam lobes... a few of them look similar to this. any questions just ask. well i've got a lot of requests to part out so i dont know if i'll be selling it as a whole. maybe the top and bottom end minus the cams and some accessories.

bump people!!! I've got 810cc injectors, JWT C1 cams, Greddy IM, Greddy oil pan, turbo, 2 short blocks (1 stock, 1 built), lots of shit that needs to go!! Just ask, I might have some stuff.

off the top of my head....
810cc DW injectors, $350 Greddy IM without TB, $400 Greddy oil Pan, $200 SC61 DBB turbo, $1000 JWT C1 cams $350 JWT springs $150 Stock short block, $350 Built Long block, $2000 added: HKS BOV (new version) $150 there some other stuff as well, just can't think of right now all these prices are off the top of my head....money talks, so who knows what i'll take Last edited by s13envy; 03-04-2009 at 11:35 PM.. |

the stock block needs a new piston and the built block needs nothing to my knowledge. it had low compression but after doing a leakdown test, it appears to be coming out the exhaust on the number 2 cylinder. no air made it into the crankcase.

I have a fresh ported and polished head that would go nicely with it
