speedo needle?

If the needle for my speedometer does not work what does that mean? It fllops around between a 20- 30 mph range. Is the guage it self broken or is it a broken vechicle speed sensor or something else entirely?

check to make sure the two wires going to your speed sensor in the rear of your tranny are properly connected also try removing the guage cluster and look for a faulty or dirty connection
