Pignose is trash, there's a reason why it only lasted two years. Chuki and Kouki fronts bring the car out of the 80's and into the 90's.

Normal a couple of years ago, sure... but nowadays these kids are getting into the scene when normal is a busted knockoff aero kit with mexi-poke 20" Varrstoens and a stickerbombed fender. You've got to admit that car kinda harkens back to the good ol' days. Granted, it's nothing earth-shattering, and by no means is it pioneering any trends. Hell, it's not even close to living up to Toby's S13's last incarnation but compared to the beat 240s you normally see around this place any more, it's still 'clean.' (in other words: not been ruined yet) The thing I laugh at is the fact that people are using 'clean' as a term of reverence. Clean just means it's been well taken care of, not really something to look up to. My CR-V is 'clean,' where the hell are the people swinging from my nutsack?


As for the zenki vs. chuki argument, It's all a matter of personal preference, I prefer the look of 80's sports cars to the 90's. Cars in the 90's all just looked too generic for the most part. All the car manufacturers were playing it safe, making everything a round unimaginative blob of mediocrity on wheels.
In my personal opinion, Kouki>Zenki>Chuki.

Once mine is finished being put back together and I can take some decent pics I'll post up my pignose, but don't expect anything that'll rock your world as it won't be anything new.

ok look im just going to put it this way i may be 19 but i have love and respect for the s chassis. my age doesnt mean shit i know what clean is and that is a clean stock looking car. i dont feel that a body kit or some crazy aero is considered clean. i feel that clean is a stock looking mint body excellent paint kind of car. you think what you want but i have never once been in the scene or on the hype of 240s i bought one for a learning experiece and to enjoy it.

good ol days from when? there have been a lot of people here throughout the years that have build some really interesting cars. a clean and basic build was the one that estevan built with mike, that was a really fun coupe. estevan's blue car was also really nice. of course, i liked russ' stripped down s14... never have i seen that many things removed (or hidden) from a car. all of this will take a lot of time to search for if you guys want pics... but then you're still subject to criticizing them for this or that, being that todays standards have changed. parts are more available, the groundwork has already been set... so you fuckers really have it easy nowadays.


i think toby's car is nice, not great. i always liked his interior work (most of it) but never really saw his engine bay. i think its a damn shame when i heard/saw him pull that motor out. i think the LS shit is overrated but again, to each his own. my gut instinct says it was better left alone, but when a man is on a mission well... usually theres no stopping him. so, LS motor it is.

the 80s were the worst, everyone was getting high on coke.. only thing close was the 70s, which also sucked. the 90s was revolutionary. we had cars like the 240sx as opposed to cars like the 200sx. the z32 replaced that heap of shit known as a z31 which replaced the bigger heap of shit, the s130. tupac was rapping, all was good in the cosmos. 90s for LIFE.

why is everyone shitting on everyone? people have their own taste in what they want with their cars, some of you complain about other people wasting money on a RHD conversion, really? but spending $1,200+ on adjustable suspension (coilovers) so you can adjust them once and leave it that way? just for the look right? everyone is going to do what they want when they want, don't get pissed and shit on their car or call them names or call out the ages of people because you don't like it, say you don't like it and move on, and if you don't like it why even click/read the thread?
