its accurate if you use the tool correctly, mount it on the wheel the same way on each wheel, AND have a flat ground which to zero in the gauge. If you are looking to get perfect alignment to the .1 degree, then you should go to a computerized alignment shop. There is a reason why hunter machines cost 20+k.
If you are at the track and need to adjust alignment and have them equal on both sides, then this tool will work. IE, its a good way to add or take out camber/toe and have them equalized on both sides. Even alignment shops get it wrong. Most (99%+) do alignment with you outside of the car, 150-200lbs sitting in the drivers seat will mess up the alignment, no matter how you look at it. You are welcome to come test it out if you want to see how accurate it is. Or just look on youtube. |
