I see tofu has a new car. Sweet! Eleanor II is going well. Just did all the balljoints/tie rods/ and had the torsion bars put in. Doing the wheel bearings in a second. Ordered KYB shocks for this truck (can you believe that?) from importcarparts.com Going to the junkyard tomorrow to look for a 5 speed and chrome front bumper. She's running fine, and I'm rapidly running up the credit card. Yay! I have a crazy video of the ball joint mess/install. It's 15 minutes long now, but I may have it cut down and transfered if my roommate has some time. I'll be sure the throw you guys the link. Happy Thanksgiving for those who observe.
-Matt

Yeah, hehe, no doubt. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''> Yeah, the truck has a 4 speed. You don't have a 78-80 5 speed, do you? I'd like to get one. Junkyard had one I think would work, but it wasn't marked and I need to study my tranny more and get more money too, before I pick it up.

Yeah. They offered the 5 speed in 78, so it should just be bolt on and go. Just gotta find one to stick in.
