car didnt rev pas 3.5k and fell flat on its face after that when driving.
i replaced the fuel pump and filter with a new one, replaced cap and rotor, and cables and plugs.
cleaned maf and tested good.
i decided to check the timing chain and looked off so i removed the cam gears and re did the location of the indentations to factory spec (lobes point away)
matched the different colored links on the upper chain to the according spot.
i feel that the timing is spot on. i tdc the engine and stabed the dizzy on cyl 1, now heres the new issue.
i am struggling to keep the car on. it idled for a bit.
now it only cranks. compression seems to still be good. 165 was the lowest i believe and the highest was around 175 ish.
only thing i can think of is bad tps sensor or ecu. i disconnected the tps to set the timing but wont stay on to even do that. any help i'd appreciate it guys.. (anyone in the dallas area willing to give a hand would be nice too).
