Ebrake problem !!!!! Need help
i just changed my rotors, and now when i pull my ebrake handle it has no locking, any advice? It worked fin right b4 i changed rotors

tighten it up, or take sand paper to the pads and scuff them up, maybe you glazed the pads over, did you clean the rotors, some companys ship them with oil on them so they dont rust during shipping/sittin in stores...

en you say "locking" are you referring to your ebrake not engaging the brakes or are you saying the ebrake handle isn’t making that clicking sound when its pulled up?

Ok sounds like to me something isn’t installed or connected right although pads and rotors are functional. Or they may need to be adjusted. The ebrake is a simple system which should be fairly easy to t/s.
I would check to make sure the lock plates are installed on the correct side of the brackets and verify that the cable is connected and seated properly at the calipers. It would also be nice to know if the brakes move (even a little) while ebrake is being engaged. If everything checks good try adjusting your ebrake. |

Did you get that little 'nipple' into the spot on the caliper for the ebrake to work?
