K, so I've been wanting to do this for a while now, hell, years now. Here's what I had in mind. I've always wanted to caravan up north with a couple of friends to check out the canyon scene, go for a few cruises, and whatever. And recently I've been thinking about it more and more, and well, we have this thread.

How about planning a huge California meet up in Norcal. Socal people would caravan up the 101/PCH (aka scenic route), meet up with the norcal guys somewhere for a huge meet. Maybe go cruising through the mountains afterwards. Spend the night, the caravan back down. I think a huge caravan of 240s going up the 101 to norcal would be fucking awesome. Any one up for it? Ideas, suggestions, criticism etc welcome.

I honestly think people will be too damn tired to do a canyon run IMMEDIATELY after the drive up. and then driving all the way back down the next day...damn I am feeling tired from just thinking about it

kinda risky. driving up there, doing canyon runs, and driving back. Theres a chance that a car will run into some kind of problem.

man, refreshing is NOT what I felt yesterday haha. Crashed out biiiig time last night, I think I felt worse than when I usually drive the 5. Perhaps it was due to my frustration driving next to two loud subaries blub blub blub blub

I've done this drive plenty of times and I must say, it's pretty sick. I go to school at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo now and i feel fortunate that the beginning of the straight continuous strectch of pch (CA-1) begins right after the entrance to my campus. This road loads all the way up to SF.

Pch along malibu is not a bad drive either, too bad it dumps u back out on the 101 right after camarillo.

Hit me up when you guys do the drive. I do all nighters (so cal -> norcal -> so cal) drives all the time jsut to chill, learn new routes, and go driving just because I enjoy driving that much.

I was thinking sometime around spring break. I sure the driving experience will be a whole lot better if youre caravaning up with several other 240s.
