Carlisle 2010 in pictures: what YOU missed...

For the record:

I drive this:

And this:

[Andy took most of these pics, I am sure he has some wonderful color commentary to add to this]

This stop on the way down really set the tone for the trip:

1) Nothing cleans up a cluttered engine bay, while at the same time making it pop to the eye like a little corrugated wire loom...

2) What's the shortest distance between two terminals? Right over the engine! Save weight and wire!

3) What's that you say? You want more accents? No sweat, we sell spraypaint!!! (masking tape/removal tools/ability to aim sold separately)

4) ET for Breather install: 8 seconds (shaved 3 seconds off last year's ET by not trimming ziptie)

This driver/car combo makes sense:

Bugatti Veyron:

It's simple math really:

Orange silicone coupler ($35)

Blue silicone coupler ($15) + Bright Orange Spraypaint ($4) = 19 dollars (aka WIN)
There's plenty of paint in the can to retouch these every couple weeks!

Also check out those terminal strips for easy addition of accessories

Well, might not be enough spraypaint left after the interior dress up, but who cares when you have a CONTROL BOX.

And you know that your worries will melt away while you're flippin these custom mounted switches as your ears are soothed by the blazing treble from these custom tweeters.

3 Words: Rear Mount Turbo

This guy probably used a coil spring for a muffler:

I have no Idea which direction this thing is supposed to drive, but I do know that those doors are secure:

Shaved, leaving no trace of ever having a door handle or lock cylinder...

Find the mod:

Found it:

Medium Blue:

The ninja turtles. Master splinter layin in the grass...

Best (haircut) in show:

Shirt real big, pants real big, Girlfriend real big, everythang real big! (busted taking the pic):

Kitted:

Overspray, or eerie smoke...? you decide. It's like a choose your own adventure!

Being a full time ricer is tiring work:

Having well balanced wheels is important:

AERODYNAMIC AS F*CK

This was a popular color scheme this year:

I see big changes coming in this car's future... (one of my favorite pics)

Good work:

Splatter paint: Timeless style

IDK if this was supposed to look like a skull, but skulls are badass!

Not lowered:

Not sure what this means, but I made sure to watch my 6:

SHAVED:
