Anyway, yeah, it's literally right next to the train station on 5th just east of Washington. Oh, and as for the parking situation. The main Metra lots are open on the weekends, and the lots around my building are cool too. The only one that is NOT cool is the lot right behind the building that can be observed partially from the deck. Sooooo, that means that we can't grill and view cars at the same time. But I think that's OK. Oh, and I don't have PS2 or XBOX, but I have a TV and nice stereo if you want to game. Kid, how about you call me so we can discuss this stuff. 630-803-4343 is my cell. Everyone should save my number in case they have issues getting here. I'll get the Yahoo map soon and post that up...sorry, I'm a little busy today. Eric

Maybe this will work for you. I don't have time right now to edit this in paint and whatnot. If someone else does, my address is 200 E. 5th Ave. Naperville, IL 60563

Awesome sounds great!
Now we need to get a big rollcall going for who is positive they are going, and who they MAY be bringing (A definite and maybe's list). While we are doing that then people who are bringing stuff (I will think of something good to bring) will have an idea of how much too bring.

yeah...i JUST changed it last week. i figured now that i live in the *630*, i better get the right number if i want the hos to be able to reach me.
i'm not sure of the time...that's Kid's deal. all i know is that it's on the 20th. i would suggest we do it in the afternoon and then grill *after* we look at cars. we can just lock 'em up, and go up to the terrace/deck and hang out there. couple of things though: 1. there will be no burnouts or hooliganism 2. there will be no obscenely loud music 3. because we are going to be going THRU my apartment building, we will have to be respectful of other tenants these things will get *ME* in trouble, so if i see you doing them, you're going to have to leave. on another note: 1. there is a lounge area (large) attached to the deck. it's reservable for $50 ($25 of which is refundable if it's clean when we're done). if you want me to reserve this, let me know and then i'll just need to get like 1 or 2 dollars from each person staying for food. speaking of which, if the time i proposed works for people, and some people want to leave before the food, that could be a nice exit point. thoughts? Eric

Timewise we usually have em at one, so stick with one, I won't be able to make it out there until one anyway, but so people know where to park just park your coupe out there (if it already isn't there), that way if you come early just find the red coupe and park there.
I'll give you a call later today so I get a better idea of exactly where it is, i've been by the train station a few times. I also suggest to those coming by washington, watch the speed limits, it's a busy area (don't know how it is on Sundays though). The site is updated, once I get the map all sorted out I'll put it up on there. If someone already hasn't could someone put it up on FA. You both have S30s

if you want to continue list, easiest way is list a name for each car, and a number for each person, but expect a lot of people to show without bieng on the list
1) Matt0941 (2) 2) kidynomite (1) Just copy paste and add yourself so we get a little bit of a list going. The site is fully updated, if there is anything you want me to change or add, just ask and will do.

2) kidynomite (1) 2) DuffMan (1) Theres a guy in Naperville who drives a red S14, and I see his car almost every day. Last weekend I saw it 4 times in one day in different places. I'm going to ask him if he wants to come. I'm going to buy a small charcoal grill in a few days so I'll bring that. I don't have much grillin' skills though so someone else should probably do the cooking. |

BTW A little thing I added to the site, is if you wanna sell something or buy something just add it to the link under market.
Would have made a forum but requires a lot more work than I thought, so I guess this will make it easier for people to sell things in chicago. http://www.geocities.com/chicago240sx2003/

OK...I've attached the map. The brown box is my building. The red boxes are parking lots. The one right in front of the building is apparently patrolled by the towing company every 4 hours...but I've never seen them. In any case, it would be easies to just park in the Metra lot, since it's huge and open on the weekends. So, park there. You'll see my car. As you can see, my place is just east of Washington on 5th. The address is:
200 E. 5th Ave. Naperville, IL 60563 Eric

Let's figure out how many people are coming and then assign food stuffs.
We're going to need: Meat (Burgers and Brats) Buns Cheese Chips Potato Salad Baked Beans Soda (Cans) Condiments Plates/Napkins/Utensils/etc. The other option is for all of you to pay admission and I'll take care of the rest (I'll even make the soda cold). I can easily just get the needed food and then you all just give me $5-6 for the trouble. That will cover the lounge rental too. Does that sound workable? Eric |

OK. More info. I've got the lounge reserved. Turns out, it's $50 to use it, but I also need to give them a $300 security deposit. I get that back if there's no damage. So, the moral is:
DON'T MESS UP THE LOUNGE I don't see anything being a problem, though. And she said the room capacity was 50...so that's all we can have. I told her it'd probably be about 30. And I told her that it would be a "Show And Shine" and then a BBQ. She said, "sounds good!" SO, it's a go. She's writing the contract now. We're on. Eric
