Best Clutch and Flywheel combo
I have a sr20 and the clutch went out and I'm thinking the fly wheel is also gone. I was looking on enjuku and I saw a flywheel and complete clutch kit for $369.99. It is a competition clutch. Has anyone installed this and had good luck with it? I don't want to waste the money because I don't have much.

I have a CC on my KA-T with their lightened flywheel. Absolutely no issues.

My favorite for stock daily drivers is OEM flywheel with Stage-1 Exedy clutch. $150 and you are driving for 40-50k miles. Replace the release bearing also ($30~ ebay) and use Molybdenum disulfide grease (honda makes the ideal imo) after thoroughly cleaning the old TOB sleeve, replace the little metal clips ($12~ ebay) and thats < $200 for 50k miles. Rough the OEM flywheel up with some Emery cloth, as per FSM instructions.
I used that combo on a 280rwhp daily driver. You can't clutch kick, drift, or dump the clutch around corners or anything. it wont handle that sort of abuse. Its just for daily driving. Once its in gear and fully in gear going straight, you can power it and it will hold fine. |

I had a Exedy stage 2 on my stock KA a few years ago and I loved the feel. In the future when I purchase a gt2871r, I'm roughly guessing 320whp with the right mods, is the Exedy Stage 2 still fine with fidanza lighten flywheel combo?
I've read on Enjuku's website that their Stage 2 clutch can handle up to 400hp.
