Here are the graphs from the Dyno, I can reconfigure the layout if it doesn't work but this seemed like the best way to show the before and after.
Run 13 is the old manifold and turbo and shows up in blue, Run 14 was the first run off the street tune Alex did on the new setup and shows up in red. Run 31 is the last one we did @ 434RWHP and maxing out the fuel system, that will show up purple. As I mentioned earlier, we are working on a new fuel system and I will be playing with the Haltech later this week/weekend to get the boost control right. We hope to have new #'s in the next 2 weeks or so. |

Old turbo and manifold were trashed, it wasn't even an option. The car sat for a while because I couldn't even drive on the old setup.

Car made it back and did very well. It made 471whp on pump and 19psi and was probably a little heat soaked when it did. I'm sure Alex will chime in with some details as I wasn't there for these runs. On C16 it made a pretty consistent 584whp @ around 28psi and from what I was told was also getting pretty heat soaked. After letting it cool down Alex made one more pull and put down 613whp on the C16. After talking with Alex and looking at the graphs I know this run could have been cleaned up a little and probably would have put down more but the decision was made not to push much harder than that and there were other people waiting in line for the man himself. I'm not planning on pushing this motor any harder until I have my new bottom end built and ready for action. I didn't drive the car far on the C16 tune but the few miles I drive it this thing was a complete animal. It's no slouch on the pump gas tune either.

applause to you my friend. very nice build.
my buddy put down 463 whp on 16psi with a gt35r , he has it upped to 20psi now so you guys make pretty similar numbers. i would pay good money for that exhaust manifold, you should get a group buy going, make yourself some money. |

Run 68 is the new pump gas tune, it was pretty heat soaked at the time but gives you a good idea of what's going on. Run 75 is the C-16 tune and was also pretty heat soaked but again, you get the idea. Run 78 is the same C-16 tune as Run 75 but after letting the car cool down a little, as you can tell it could be cleaned up quite a bit and probably make more power but no one wanted to stretch this bone stock motor too far and Alex had some other things waiting for him. I am certainly aiming for more because I am greedy but not until the motor gets built. |

Here is the first step in the makeover process for the S14, paint and body work coming soon once I figure out what to do with the body then back to focusing on the RB30 build.

Car goes in for bodywork and paint finally next week. My new dilemma is deciding what to do with the wheels. They got scratched mounting the new tires and I now have to decide what color to go with. The car is staying black, should I keep the gold or go with another color? I was thinking about going back to black centers but I'm undecided.

When making numerous consecutive runs, especially on a dyno the motor and cooling components of the motor and FI system can tend to retain more heat than they would under normal operating conditions. This causes the motor to work less efficiently and make less power. I can run the car "heat soaked" and make one number, let the car sit and cool down without changing anything else and gain quite a bit. You can see in the comparison of the last few runs that the car gained 30whp by letting it cool off for 5-10min.

Picking up the car tomorrow, I'll have it for about 5 days before it goes off for more work but I will certainly try and get some good pics while I have it. I haven't seen it yet but I've watched it's progress up until now and so far I'm impressed. Plus Cory from Sinful Creations calls me daily to tell me how amazing it's coming out.

Holy hell.........Just went to do a final inspection in case we wanted to change something before I pick it up tomorrow. Bumper, Side Skirts, and new lights weren't in yet but this thing looks so much better it's ridiculous. Picking it up tomorrow night and I think Alex(OVRBST) is going to snap some pics this weekend before I send the wheels out and get some other things done.

i kinda hate you because your car is where i want mine to be! i think the black centers would look better, but i like the black on black look. what size wheels are those? look a little big for the car. just my two cents. excellent job on everything!!

Wish my black zenki looked so clean! What side skirts and rear bumper were on it before you went kouki areo? They looked clean flowing with the oem front and lip. Which is what I have, that's why I ask.

Everything is for sale for the right price.
The previous aero was chargespeed but it was all molded into the car. Wasn't my choice, I picked it up that way years ago. |

Man that car is super clean. I wouldn't do anything else to the body. I love the coil pack placement of the fire wall. One question though. I noticed that the number one exhaust runner is pretty close to your power steering line is it not heating the fluid more than it should be? I don't know the flash point of power steering but I'd rather be safe than sorry. Looking forward to the new dyno sheets and vids. Keep up the great work!!
