KA KA24E Help Please

Installed new Main and Rod bearings into my KA24E and It is pretty hard to crank the motor by hand (Socket wrench on the crank pulley) I tried to bench test it with the starter (Wiring starter to a battery and bolted on to see if it could crank) It just clicked and was unable to turn the motor. Any suggestions on how easy or loose the new bearings are?

I hear mixed opinions on how tight new bearings are. Some suggest push starting the motor and letting it warm up and the bearings should ease?

Can any1 help?

are you sure you did not get over sized bearings? you should be able to turn the crank by hand(without using a tool) if the pistons are not in the bores. remove the bearings and check part numbers to make sure they are not over sized.
