KA Weird Starting Problem

So I get in my car today (91 KA24DE) and go to start it, and NOTHING. So i turn on my dome light and nothing so I assume dead battery. Throw it on the charger let it charge 20 mins and says charged. Go to start and still nothing. So i guess bad battery or bad charger and go pull my optima battery out of the mustang. Get in and turn the key to aux and everything turns on but when i try to start NOTHING and then none of the aux work again. WTF????
And, if i disconnect the battery for few seconds then hook it back up aux works until i try to start it again. I HAVE NO CLUE what this could be. ANY IDEAS WOULD HELP. THANK YOU

Well i feel really stupid, i replaced the connector for the positive cable and it started right up. I looked at the old one and it was cracked so that was apparently the problem. Thank YOU!!
