VA,MD,DC call to arms: reborn
LAME.
Since a year old thread that the many 240 owners of virginia posted in was closed, and events still actually happen here, i believe it needs to be reborn. "So....looks like the VT car show is on Oct. 19. Ne one in the SoVA area planning on going??? or even any NoVA heads. I think my friends from SpeedFactor may be rolling down. What about you guys?" branching off the last post about a CAR EVENT IN VIRGINIA WHERE SEVERAL 240's will be at... ------------------------------------- yeah pj, i just got my car down this weekend, so i'll be at it, u gonna have urs down by then? mayyybe we can go to nova and get urs sometime if u'd want.

I'm still unsure which weekend I'm going to put my car in the shop for the swap. I'd like to come down, but not even sure if I can take off from work that weekend. I'll see what I can do.

whine all you want.
there was alot of OT stuff in that thread.. at least a few pages worth. Sure you still discussed meetups every now and then, but it was still basically a chatting thread. Anyway, chatting threads won't be tolerated. If you wanna talk about paintjobs or where to get R34 wings, do it in the appropriate forums. Anyone who has a problem with this, feel free to PM myself or Mark. It's only because of him that I didn't delete the other thread. Thanks Kevin |

lol...its funny how that thread got locked....after its been open for such a long time.
Anyways...I wish I can go, but I have to work. Did anyone post this on http://www.midatlantic240SX.com ?? I think he should hold a "chatting thread" over there.

haha, funny how many threads ive read with him chattin away, flaming and postwhoring, but whatever.
yeah, post it up over there, we should get more of the va members over there, since this discussion forum regulates against discussion about local events, few pages worth of chat compared to a lot of meetup discussion...seems like the normal average that ive seen in other posts...just this is one big one...:hammer: still... zilvia owns

Stee Flo, you got a blue fastback right?
Saw someone today on rt1 comming out of featherstone right next to me. I was in a burgandy hardbody yelling and making a scene. Ohh yeah, does anybody know someone w/a red hachi w/a carbon fiber hood, some rims w/about a 0 offset, and slammed. Saw that today on rt1 going north as well, early this morn. Looked so bad ass.

Word. Nice ride man. Finally someone else out there in nova w/old school rims. Yeah, you were pretty intent on looking at the road ahead of you. I was just making some deliveries in the parts truck. It was right along the occoquan bridge and you went onto 95.

I'm moving to DC in January but will be there on the 16-17-18 of this month to look for an apartment. Glad to see there's more people with 240s in that area than here in Akron. There's about 5 of us here.
I have a red 92 fb with carbon fiber hood and sr20. Will be in downtown Washington for the weekend, mabye there's an event happening that I could attend? Anyone autox? Thanks Jenne

MidAtlantic240SX.com has all the locals. I think that weekend, all the NoVA/DC/MD guys are going down to Richmond for the drft event. There should be a Dave and Buster's meet the weekend before thanksgiving.

Good god.....This morning I see george and stee flo on rt1!
George, the rims look nice. I couldn't tell if you put those coilovers on yet. I was rolling south, fast. And then right down the street I got my daily sighting of stee flo. But where was jonathan?? Not even his amigo! Anyways...I'll go to that event if I get my swap done in time. *crossing fingers* Jenne! I hope you have an extra set of rims if you're gonna be drivin in dc. There's an autox event hosted by the scca at RFK stadium in dc every month. But you have to get invited. We should make out sometime.

Make out some time? Is that DC for hang out sometime? LOL
Great! I look forward to meeting all of you. The move isn't until January, but I have a job already and just need to find an apartment and whatnot. The tough part is picking an area, since I don't know what the places aroung metro are like. Thanks for the link! I'll sign up today! Jenne

Where exactly is your workplace? I know if its in the district, you will want to be near a metro station, unless you plan on driving in every day (that sucks, DC traffic is #2 worst in the nation). The suburbs that are bout 15-20 min outside the district are like Tysons, Reston, Fairfax (NoVA) or anywhere in Montgomery County, MD. I personally like the Tysons area and the Reston area. They are relatively close to the district and the neighborhoods/communities are very nice and safe. The only problem is that they are starting to have some traffic problems. Oh well, in NoVA/DC/MD traffic is something that you will just get used to. But no matter were u are in that area, you will be close to a 7-11/mall/gas station/fast food etc.
