g35 problem

ok today when my brother drove up an incline his transmission pretty much let go and he went backwards
im not sure but im thinkin limp mode or somethin of the sort
he has an 06 g35 coupe automatic
please shed some light
edit:he said it felt like it went into neutral so he let it rol back and it let him go up when he went on an angle

nobody has any clue wat this could be
my brother is jus scared to go up a bridge one day with traffic behind him and the transmission jus cuts out on him

Ok just putting it out there but if the problem only happens on inclines, try checking the actual fluid. Maybe the flui is low causing the trans to slip. Try checking it, the g have a dipstick, make sure car is on

fluid check sounds good.
also, lots of miles?
perhaps the valve body has something caught in it. If a check valve doesn't close, then it may not be properly shifting.

yea check the fluid te torque converter is problly going to crap. but im not up to date with the g

G35's are like blonde bombshells....expensive , unreliable and loose lol.

But in my personal XP with them any little thing cause's a huge problem. If he has been racing the car that could be the problem, not that on 45k in an auto he woulda messed anything up BUT the ECU from the factory has basicly a ANTI race chip in it. If you drive like a bat outa hell for a long period of time the car will basicly as you said put itself in limp mode. The only way to fix this is go to your dealer , and when you do that they void your waranty . Trust me.

Which later leads to a 06' Supercharged g35...since you dont have a waranty anyways...
