ka24de no spark/code 21
I have a 1991 ka24det with a code 21 for the ignition circuit. My car cranks and I'm getting fuel. I changed the ignition coil because I wasn't getting any spark, but that was before I actually read the codes on the ecu. I looked at the FSM but I don't fully understand the wiring diagrams. So I'm trying to wrap my head around the circuit to track the issue. Any insight on this circuit or what to check?

gotta figure out how to read those diagrams.... gotta see if the distributor is getting the power it needs, then go from there. without looking obviously check fuses, and connections, check grounds, but a voltmeter and a diagram are gonna be your best friends

Since I hate when people post questions and never close it with a solution, here we go.
Because it was cranking and I had fuel, but No spark after the ignition coil I changed the small module(chip/resistor) behind the coil and my car fired up. |
