it could have been better. it was fine in the morning but it didn't like the 80º heat later in the day. two runs then cool off. i never got around to really sealing up the radiator to the shroud so it's sucking in some hot air from the trunk. i think sealing it will help but i'm thinking bigger radiator for piece of mind. also, rear mount is stupid

Maybe you don't need a bigger radiator, but more airflow to it.... how about deleting the rear side windows entirely and turning them into huge ducts?

thanks for the feedback folks!
aga, that's a good thought. to close the loop on that, it turns out the radiator and flow are fine. i just needed to go back and seal up the radiator to the shroud better. it was great at the last event. it was only 80º ambient that day but i'm calling the cooling system done. just need a tune! |

if anyone is wondering what happened to this car, i yanked the LS1...
and traded it for a coupe... with crazy clean interior... then i added the absolute minimum parts required... and had a blast! i'm going to spend some time getting back to basics and just having fun. the s14 will be back online in about a year with some kind of force fed japanese lump under the hood. |

So much awesome stuff in this thread. Not a fan of V8 so happy to see it gone, but can't get over the attention to detail or awesome fab work. Keep it up.

thanks for the feedback fellas!
thanks man! i felt kind of bad since i got invited because of the s14 and showed up with a boring coupe on steelies. had so much fun though. i'm just broke man. i had to make a sacrifice to get my daily and street game back up and the LS drew the short straw! actually i had to dump a set of wheels too |

Long shot as I know this thread is 2.5 years old but does anyone have any updates on this car? Who it went to, current set up, if its still around, etc. The level of fabrication in this is too unreal for it to just disappear.
