you be doing a lot of massaging. For shits and giggles when i was swapping my sohc to a dohc-t i through a dummie 350 block camaro bell housing with th400 in it to see if it would work. also tried a th350, corvette 4 speed and a rock crusher
and all im going to say is that youve got a lot of work ahead of you. with fab you can fit anything into an s-chassis if you go for it please take lots of pictures and document everything. Im curious how you end up doing it |

If nobody has input on this... than that's even more reason to go for it and make it happen and like stated above... pics and document everything!!! Experimentation means progression!

i talked to nismoknights on here about this a while ago, and he was running a TH350 and he said it "fit" i've seen a few other 2JZ/TH400/TH350 guy's running them so it shouldnt be much of an issue.
i would say its nothing a hammer couldn't take care of.

i have built hundreds of th400s they are full hydraulic tho.will the bellhousing work? if not try advance adapters, i would go with a th350 tho bc of the weight. both re creap to rebuld and very simple just get a haynes tech book. and to make it work fab up a x member and buy a ratchet shifter they are cable actuated. andon the plus side the trannys are everywhere and can be found for cheap
