Photography/Camera set-up thread.
Alright. Well, we all know some of you are gifted when you get a camera in your hand. I did some searched and didn't find a thread that shows what you guys use to take those dope pictures. I've seen some and wondering how the hell half of them were taken and what you were using to do it. So, here are the rules to the thread.
RULES - You must post a picture. - Picture must be car-related. - You must post the camera, lens, etc. you used - You can post the settings. ISO, shutter speed, etc. - You must post whether or not the photo is edited, if so, what program/rough outline of what was done. Yes, I realize this is for some of you more hardcore photo buffs. If you had a point and shoot and think the photo is a pretty damned good one, feel free to post it and just list as much as you can. If you have suggestions to add/remove some things to what's needed, let me know. I can do some editing of the original post. Let's see what you guys got. |

Holy shit. That thing looks beat to hell. Haha. I run a D60. I'm thinking of getting another lens to try to emulate something along these lines. Did you run a tripod or picture switch?

Oh nice, yeah they're great bodies. I just recently switched over to the darkside and got a 7d. It's awesome and all but sometimes I find myself missing my dinky old nikon lol, it never failed me. I just wanted to start doing video stuff. Yeah, I had to run a tripod because when we made the trip up there, my other flashes decided to not work and I had to just use one and take multiple shots. That's probably like 3 or 4 shots put together on photoshop. |

Camera Canon EOS 5D
Exposure 0.005 sec (1/200) Aperture f/4.0 Focal Length 100 mm ISO Speed 320 I believe it was my 70-200 that I used. It was for a article for Modified Magazine. Bird's eye view by Chad Lunn, on Flickr Canon 5d+70-200 It is a composite of probably 10 images so settings probably won't matter. Canon 5d+Tamron 28-75 Exposure 0.04 sec (1/25) Aperture f/18.0 Focal Length 28 mm ISO Speed 50 |

I did all of these with a Canon 30D and a kit lens with adjustments made in CS5. Some are HDR. All were shot at ISO 100. If you'd like to see more, you can always visit my blog in my sig.

i use a Nikon D3100 with a Nikkor 70-300mm and/or the 18-55mm kit lens with wide angle adapter. newest photoshop is used for editing, usually only for the warming filter and fixing exposure. Last edited by itsjustdaphne; 05-30-2012 at 10:23 PM.. |
