LHD S13 with S15 SR20DE, exhaust fitment question
Hi all,
I've tried searching the forums for the answer, but can't find anything regarding my specific engine/chassis combination. I'm in the progress of fitting an S15 Spec-S SR20DE engine into a LHD RS13 chassis (EU-spec 200SX /w CA18DET), which is pretty much the same as a 240SX S13. I don't have an exhaust for the chassis yet, but do have the upper and lower portion of the S15 SR20DE N/A exhaust manifold. Does anyone know if the lower portion of the manifold is interchangable between the NA versions of the different s-body generations (S13/S14/S15)? And if so, will the lower portion end where the downpipe normally would with a turbo so it'll bolt up in combination with a stock or aftermarket S13 exhaust with cat? And even more importantly, will the manifold even clear the steering shaft as the SR20DE only ever came in RHD chassis? Thanks, DJ
