Z33 limp mode when drifting
Hey guys I got my z33 set up to compete for drifting. I've been going to events all year and the car will go into limp mode when I'm drifting and ut really kills the fun. It happens more and more the faster I go. It rarely happens in 2nd but it happens alot in 3rd gear. It happens when I transfer it really hard or when i dirt drop it or hit rumble strips and also when I hit bumps in the course mid drift. Has anyone else had anything like this happen? I have all the vdc stuff I can find unplugged including wheel speed sensors and the control box. The car is an 03 enthusiast and I thought it could be the gas lines recall they had in 03. I'm also running 245 wide tires all around so I'm getting alot of grip

I see you posted this a few months ago, how do you know it goes into limp mode? does the check engine light come on? if it does, scan it and see what it says, ive only had mine go into limp mode when the fuses for my 02 sensors blew, and i couldnt believe it has a fuse for 02 sensors!!

you might try investing in a surge tank, that will eliminate any fuel starvation issues. If your going for something classy you can check out Radium Homepage or there are lots of other less expensive options out there.
