Mine is located on the passenger side frame rail ahead of the firewall. It's a great location, up out of the way, but super easy to get to for oil changes. I'm using this remote mount: Canton Racing remote filter mount. It's nice because you can run giant filters on it.

for a less a expensive alternative, I believe Summit carries a piece for ~$30. Quote:
I'll PM you our info update: Got all the blocks through the 1st CNC phase we only have 3 casualties (they're ugly but functional) that will work as set up pieces for the next 2 operations cell phone picture is blurry but you can see the additional chamfers and RTV ring we added we also started running the AN fittings on the NC lathe got the setting down and got through 1/3 of the first operation time to go home. |

we're leaning towards anodizing the fittings red hard anodized 6061 looks like this: sorry, but we're probably going to keep the ugly ones for ourselves or close friends if they survive the next couple of set ups. thank you |

These adapter are nice! I bought mine on the very first group buy (I was #4 on the list) about a year ago. Since then, the adapters have been popping up everywhere with excellent results. I have used mine on a fully built NA DE Daily Driven with absolutely no leaks or problems whatsoever.
So if you plan to go turbo, run a relocated oil filter and or combined with a remoter oil cooler, buy the Skullworks oil block adapter! This piece will not fail you. -- Juan, I am opening a parts/tuner shop in Irwindale real soon and hope to have some of your products for display and stock. I'll get back to you when I am ready. ~mario

I have detailed pics, including the Skull and Bones (prior to Skullworks engrave) somewhere. These were the only 2 found from my photobucket account. I'll look for them when time prevails...

I forgot to ask....are the IN/OUT fittings -8AN or -10AN? What straight thread is used with the -AN fittings? All of my current lines/fittings are -10AN, which is why I'm asking just in case I need to get an adapter fitting.
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/FRA-497310/ Either way is a great peice and I can't wait to bolt it up. Thanks. |

the IN is the fitting where the 1/8 NPT ports tap into (that way you take your temp and pressure reading from the oil going into the motor and also lets you feed clean oil to a turbo) |
