1990 Nissan Silvia- sr20det 5 speed 80k JDM
I just recently finished up my Silvia that was a 5 year-long work in progress. I love the car but since I'm in Cali I'm not sure I want to go thru spending the time and money to try to get it titled. I'm still putting together a list with all the info and downloading pics to imgur, I'll update with a full ad shortly, but you can see some info about it in my recent threads.
This is not a project anymore, the car is complete, running and driving and boosting, just needs basic adjustment and maintenance now. Please message if interested. This is just the basic cliff notes summary about the car: The car is from Tokyo Japan and was imported to California in 2000. -Car was originally a sr20de with auto tranny, but while in Japan it was converted to sr20det with manual transmission. When I got it about 5 or 6 years ago the engine and tranny and front end had been removed. Lucky for me I happened to have a Silvia K's front clip with the matching OEM paint and sr20det drivetrain with full accessories. I have the original Japanese paperwork from that clip so my Silvia has matching original engine, harness, ECU, and gauge cluster with confirmed history and mileage. I even used parts from another front clip and replaced the carpet and dash so the interior in good condition too. I kept almost everything OEM jdm and 100% complete and legit, no hacking. The only OEM items not used are EGR and charcoal canister. I used a few aftermarket goodies such as: Cusco coilovers, Nismo front strut bar , Tanabe rear strut bar, R32 GTR Fuel Pump, Greddy boost gauge and turbo timer, Dcuatro BOV, and K&N intake, and S14 T28 w/ Greddy pipes. More info and pics soon. [QUOTE https://imgur.com/8K7jHpPh https://imgur.com/nXyasE5h https://imgur.com/gb2KeYfh [/QUOTE] |

There were a couple guys that were helpful with their responses but although I do recall you posting a bunch in my threads, I don't recall anything you said being applicable to the issue, or helpful. Pretty sure I answered most of my own questions, and then tried to provide that info in my posts for other members. I thought that's how forums worked.

My bad on not including price. Starting off asking price would be $12k obo, but cash is king so open to offers. That price would also include everything I have for rhd s13 Silvia (you can see some of these listed in my fs thread). I have a covered side yard and space for keeping it long term, but I still have my original 240 hatch sr, so it would just be easier to keep one s13 for the long term.

Thanks coupesallday! for the better size pics. It's complicated enough for me to load pics on imgur and keep a word doc of the links to post...don't have a clue why the pics end up being 4 times the size of the screen when I post them...haha

I still have it. When I got the car the Silvia front end and drivetrain had been removed. The drivetrain, ecu and gauges are from one front clip and the front end and interior are from another front clip. Car is original silver color paint, and front end is two tone. Matches color ok but not perfect. It is an old school import from back in 2000, I only have basic importation papers and bills of sale. Would be pretty hard to try to register in Cali. due to lack of all the importation forms they want, but don't know about the requirements for other states.

Resized the pics and restructured your ad from a wall of text to something legible.

Thank you mods for cleaning up the ad. Sorry for delay and lack of response. I still have it and I still plan to sell it. I was finishing up all the small details and installing stuff like Greddy turbo timer and boost gauge. Last thing I am waiting for is an OEM Silvia steering wheel then car will be done to completion the way I planned it. I did get a couple PMs that I will be responding to in next few days. Thanks for the interest.

I was telling come people $10k at first but since I put more parts and money into it starting off at $11k with all the parts as shown in pics. I also have lots of other aftermarket parts and performance upgrades that can be worked into a possible deal. I'll get some more pics up soon of the interior and other details.

I never said anything about titling or registering, I just stated the facts. I have been dealing with importers, CARB and BAR and CA DMV for years so I do know alot of the intricacies but that is a different thread.
