Energy Suspenion s13 FLCA install

I know I'm going to get a "google this, search that" response; and I have done both of these options and more.

I have been trying to find out what needs to be removed from the stock FLCA before pressing in the new ones.

I have removed the inner tube/sleeve, and burned out the rubber bushing.

DOES THE OUTER METAL SLEEVE NEED TO BE PRESSED OR CUT OUT AS WELL?

My new bushings are on their way and I would like to have my control arms ready to press the new parts in.

Thank you in advance Zilvia! - James

I can't picture the outer sleeves. But it shouldn't be a tough job. If you already have the old ones mostly clean, wait til the new ones arrive and compare. It's not a technically difficult job.

The Job wasn't tough as I suspected but I was trying to find out if the outer sleeve (steel) surrounding the rubber bushing needed to be pressed out after burning the rubber.

It does not come out with energy bushing kits.

Thank you!

I believe it needs to remain. Just the bushing and the pin would need to replaced. This would come with the kit tho. The casing doesn't
