Hi,
I just called the dealer - $122 for a new hatchback seal plus the cost of sealant! Even at 25% off this is still gonna be a $100 project. I know some other people have had this problem. What have you guys done? Is there a generic alternative I can use?? Please help here. Thanks, Todd |

Todd? Todd Nappi? Todd Nappi as in the Todd Nappi i-just-shipped-my-sideskirts-to Todd Nappi? nice you see you on the boards man! this is danny by the way...
usually the cheapest way is to rip one from a junked car, otherwise you can try to repair the one you have with tape/glue/silicone/shoe-goo/etc. this is the rubber piece that goes all the way around the trunk/hatch opening right? i might have one... i'll get back to you on that. hope that sorta helps... good luck! danny

Yah that's me...
I still can't believe there isn't a generic part for this, but oh well. It is ripped in about 5 places. If you got one, that'd be great. I could also go for a 91-94 Front Bumper (Black), and front lip for a 91-94 (anything PDM-like), injectors for a SOHC, this AC line a SOHC (I have a pic, I'm not sure if you have a SOHC parts car)... and a B&M shortshifter for a 91-94. That's about it for now. Unless you got a 10lb pulley for a supercharged MR2, lol. Let me know. Todd |
