HUD problem

Is any one having a problem with their HUD?
My friends' car needs to warm up(30mins+ at times) in order for it to pop up.

I dont see how jiggling wires are gonna help.
If the wires were messed up then, it just wouldnt pop up.
I think the relay might be messed up.

your friend is lucky he only has to wait 30+ minutes before the car speedo works. mine did the same and one day just stopped working. In the heat it should work fine. 2 choices.. get that cluster of yours and try soldering every solder joint in the back. works for some people. Or do what i did and get a JDM speedo. For some reason they dont ever mess up but it think reading the KM/h part sucks... plus that anoying chime. Theres some way to convert it to MPH. but i didnt do that.

Its just how these clusters were made. I think canadian clusters would work perfectly too becasue they have MPH and KMH like ours. Your best bet is to get a new one or check out LSAuto for working speedos. i doubt it has anything to do with the relays.
